The scenario
Let me create a picture for you. You have a great idea for a service or product that could make you lots of money. That is the dream in your head and perhaps something that you have been thinking about for a long time. But how can you turn that dream, that idea into a real, money making business? Sure, you can seek the advice of our “friends” at the Chamber of Commerce or your local Business Link or the usual know-it-all gurus. And as usual they will come up with umpteen solutions, tens of possible routes and a list of dos and donts. But let me ask you: what good are they all to you personally, to your “specific” idea and business? How would they apply to what “you” want to do “where” you want to operate, “when” you want to do business and “who with” you will be working? The answer is… very little. They are useful contacts for “general advice” but they would not be specific to you and your business. And that is where what I have to say will be of tremendous interest to you.

The School of entrepreneurship
Now, let me create an alternative scenario. What about instead receiving specific training, and personal support, in a small group that will focus on YOU and YOUR business idea and YOUR business development? What about working with other like minded people who can share their real life stories and support you in finding solutions and options for YOU and YOUIR business? What about being trained, supported and mentored by someone who has been there, done it and worn the T shirt many times? What about having along side you someone who is an “expert” of entrepreneurship, someone who made it his goal to support “individually” you and your business?

Aims and objectives
Our mission is to reach the thousands and thousands of individuals like you. For a variety of reasons, you cannot go or do not wish to go to a university course in business studies and/or to a specialised course in entrepreneurship. What you have is certainly the dream, the idea that guides you and often the motivation to do something about it. You may also have the necessary skills related to the product or service that you want to offer or are already offering. What you lack is the knowledge of what it means to run a business, let alone a successful, profit making business. That is where the School of Entrepreneurship (SoE) comes in! SoE is the best opportunity to help you and support you on the way to becoming a successful entrepreneur. Through the SoE you will learn:

a) how to turn YOUR dream into reality by creating YOUR business

b) how to use YOUR knowledge, skills and experience to build your business

c) what really is an enterprise and what will make you a successful entrepreneur

d ) what really is a successful business and how yours can become one too

e) the basic rules of any business (finances, accounting, legal, etc)

f) the dos and don’ts of successful businesses

g) how to build a successful team around you (whether inside or outside of your business)

h) how to set clear plans and strategies to cover every aspect of YOUR business, not just what you know already

i) the USPs (unique selling points) of YOUR business

j) the 5 plans to make YOUR business successful

and much much more.

But this is not all because all this will be offered to you for free! Yes, you have read correct. We will not charge you a penny for joining the School of Entrepreneurship and taking its courses. In addition some of the courses will involve the expertise as trainers of a number of business people who are very interested in YOUR success. In a sense, your success will be our success. Tutoring of the SoE
Most of the tutoring on the various sessions of the SoE will given by Alex Tana.

Alex Tana
He is the current director of the SoE and has an extensive experience and knowledge about enterprises, start-up businesses and business in general. In his long successful experience he has not only covered several middle and senior management positions but he has started a number of businesses which have later been sold at a profit. His main business today is about business coaching, mentoring and training. A dynamic public speaker and trainer his workshops are always extremely popular. A graduate in Anthropology and Sociology he has also trained as a business coach, a life coach and an NLP practitioner. He is the author of a book on leadership and one on life coaching apart from a number of articles (some of which are posted on his main website alextana.com).

Other tutors
A number of other tutors will also be used on the course. They are experts in one or more aspects of running a successful business or are directly involved with supporting your way to a successful business. They are all men and women of great knowledge and experience and we are privileged to have their support and participation on the course.
